About this story
“守株待兔”出自战国末期韩非的《韩非子·五蠹》:宋国有个农夫,看见兔子撞死在树桩上,就扔下农具守着树桩,再也没等来兔子,反倒成了宋国的笑柄。韩非用它讽刺那些想用古代的老办法治理当今百姓的人。这一版加入了农夫的妻子和邻居,把短短几句的寓言讲成一出热闹的小戏。

Tips for telling it
- 兔子撞树桩那一下可以停顿、加一声“咚”,让孩子先笑出来,再慢慢转到农夫的荒唐。
