New: Audio Drama Studio — paste a story and get a full-cast audio drama, cast automatically with every line directed; the same cast can perform it in English, Spanish, Japanese and more. Hear finished pieces in the Theater.
Short video is won or lost in the first three seconds
Retention curves fall off a cliff at second three. However good the script is, if the opening line lands flat the viewer is already gone.
So this page skips the feature list and plays you four clips instead — one per real content category. Find the one that sounds like your channel.
Four categories, four deliveries
Story channel — the three-second hook
[excited] Don't scroll — this video is fifteen seconds long and it will save you three months.Don't scroll — this video is fifteen seconds long and it will save you three months.
Note the [excited] tag driving that read. It is not decoration; it genuinely moves where the stress falls. The same line untagged sounds noticeably flatter. Full tag list in the emotion tag cheatsheet.
Emotional narration — late-night writing
Most adult breakdowns are silent. It is just that one evening you park downstairs and sit there for forty minutes before going up.
This category needs space, not intensity. Slow pace, long gaps between sentences — the exact opposite parameter set from a sales read.
Explainer — fast pacing
Three numbers tell the whole story. One: costs down seventy percent. Two: turnaround from two weeks to one day. Three: there is no three — the first two were enough.
Explainers get their rhythm from phrasing. The pauses around numbers, ordinals and pivot words are the entire craft of this category.
Product sales — closing the order
[excited] Last thirty seconds! Only two hundred left in stock, a hundred off at checkout — once they are gone, they are gone.[excited] Last thirty seconds! Only two hundred left in stock, a hundred off at checkout — once they are gone, they are gone.
Urgency is the one category where the tag does most of the work. The same sentence without [excited] reads like a disclaimer.
The whole workflow, in 30 seconds
- Paste the script into the voice studio
- Pick a voice — 24 character voices in the voice library, chosen by category
- Tag the lines that need stress:
[excited]/[whispers]/[laughs] - Generate — about ten seconds
- Download the MP3 and the SRT, drop both into your editor
Step 5 is where the time actually goes today. The SRT is computed during synthesis, not transcribed from the audio, so there are no misheard words to fix by hand and no second alignment pass.
Working at volume
If you ship five or more clips a day, stop generating them one at a time:
- Freeze the voice ID. Write it into your SOP — channel recognisability comes from long-run consistency.
- Batch the scripts. Separate several scripts with blank lines and submit once; the system chunks on paragraphs.
- Templatise the read. Fix the hook / body / CTA structure and swap only the body.
- A/B the same script. Generate one script in two voices, post both, compare retention.
Almost nobody does the last one, and it is the single ability this tool has that a human recording session does not: re-recording in a different voice costs nothing.
Cost
A 60-second read is roughly 900 English characters. Five a day for a month is about 135,000 characters.
That is about 9,450 credits a month on the standard model or 5,400 on the fast one, which the Pro plan at $89 (10,000 credits) covers — roughly 30 to 60 cents a clip. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
FAQ
Will an AI voice get me suppressed? Ranking looks at retention and engagement, not synthesis. Flat delivery hurts retention; synthesis itself does not.
Do the captions line up? Yes — word-level SRT from the same pass as the audio, no transcription step.
How do I keep one channel voice? Reuse the voice ID. Synthesised output is deterministic — no bad-voice days.
