曾子杀猪
曾子的妻子要去集市，小儿子哭着要跟。妈妈随口哄他：回来给你杀猪吃。她回家时，曾子真的在捉猪了。妻子说那是哄孩子的，曾子却说：对孩子，不能说假话。

“曾子杀猪”出自战国末期韩非的《韩非子·外储说左上》，原文作“曾子杀彘”，彘就是猪。曾子名参，春秋末年鲁国人，是孔子的学生。他的妻子为了哄哭闹的孩子，随口说回来给他杀猪吃，曾子就真的把猪杀了。这一版把故事讲成一家三口的小戏，让孩子亲眼看到爹娘说话算话。

说话要算数，答应了的事就要做到，对小孩子也一样。孩子是看着父母长大的，父母守信，孩子才会守信。

Tips for telling it
- 妈妈哄孩子那一句讲得轻快随意，曾子讲道理时放慢，让孩子听出两种口气的不同。
- 问问孩子：妈妈说杀猪只是哄你玩的，曾子为什么还要真的杀？
- 这个故事也是讲给大人听的：对孩子的承诺尽量做到，做不到的就别随口答应。
