E-commerce Voiceover - One Script, Three Markets
AI voiceover for e-commerce: one listing script becomes native English, Spanish and Japanese audio for Amazon video, TikTok Shop ads and DTC pages.

The real voiceover bill is not per clip
It is SKUs × markets × asset types.
A store selling into three regions needs, per SKU: one main-image video in three languages, three TikTok ad cuts in three languages, one landing-page read in three languages — fifteen tracks. At native-speaker freelance rates, a single SKU can run into four figures.
At a hundred SKUs, that model simply stops working.
One script, three markets
The three clips below are the same listing script, changed only in language and native voice:
🇺🇸 English — American ad read
Built for the way you actually work. Sets up in ninety seconds, runs all day, and comes with a two-year warranty. Ships free, today.
All three are native voices, not one speaker straining through a second language. In trust-sensitive categories that difference shows up directly in conversion rate — buyers are more sensitive to it than sellers expect.
Here is a looser, review-style English read that suits creator collaboration assets:
Pick the read by channel
| Channel | Style that works | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon main-image video | Plain, high information density | Never state a price or promotion in the audio — prices change and the video fails re-review |
| TikTok Shop | Fast, hook inside two seconds | Borrow the hook structure from short video voiceover |
| DTC landing page | Brand tone, slower pace | Dwell time is longer here, so a longer narrative works |
| Creator collaborations | Conversational review tone | Too polished reads as an ad and kills engagement — use the review clip above |
That first row is the mistake sellers make most: a main-image track that says "just $19.99 today", then a price change three weeks later invalidates the whole video.
Native voices vs one brand voice
Two strategies, chosen by category:
- Native first — a local voice per market. Best conversion for trust-sensitive listings.
- One brand voice — use video dubbing so the same voice speaks every language, and English, Spanish and Japanese buyers all hear the same brand. Right for brand films, founder content and serialised story ads.
Most stores should run both: native voices on listing assets, one brand voice on brand and story assets.
Cost
A 30-second listing script is roughly 800 characters; three languages is about 2,400.
The Starter plan at $7 (600 credits) covers about three SKUs across three languages (six on the fast model) — roughly 45 to 65 cents per SKU per market. Failed generations are refunded.
FAQ
Any Amazon restriction on synthesised voice? No, but audio must be clean, and must not state prices or promotions.
Does a non-native accent cost conversions? Yes, most sharply in trust-sensitive categories. Native voices cost the same.
Can one brand voice carry across languages? Yes — video dubbing. Choose per category.
