About this story
“自相矛盾”出自战国末年韩非的《韩非子·难一》:楚国有个既卖盾又卖矛的人,夸自己的盾什么都戳不穿,又夸自己的矛什么都能戳穿,有人问他用矛戳盾会怎样,他答不上来。韩非用它反驳儒者既称颂尧圣明、又称颂舜教化百姓的说法。这一版把它放进热闹的集市,让一个小姑娘问出那个关键问题。

说话、做事要前后一致,不能为了一时夸口把话说满,否则自己的话就会互相打架。听别人说话时,也要学会发现其中的矛盾。
