About this story
《下金蛋的鹅》出自古希腊的《伊索寓言》(The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs),讲一个人有一只每天下一个金蛋的鹅,他以为鹅肚子里全是金子,就把鹅杀了,结果什么也没得到。英语俗语“kill the goose that lays the golden eggs”就是从这个故事来的。这一版让大白鹅开口说话,加上一位急性子的老伴,结局保留原作,但不渲染杀鹅的过程,适合小朋友听。
