爱捉弄人的狐狸请仙鹤吃饭,端上来的却是两只又平又浅的盘子。过了几天,仙鹤回请狐狸,桌上摆着两只瓶口细细长长的瓶子……

About this story
《狐狸和仙鹤》出自《伊索寓言》(The Fox and the Stork),相传为古希腊的伊索所讲:狐狸用浅盘子盛汤请客,长嘴的客人一口也喝不到;客人回请时把食物装进细颈瓶,狐狸也只能干看着。原故事里的客人是一只鹳,中文译本习惯写成仙鹤。这一版加了看热闹的小刺猬,结尾让狐狸认错,两人约好下回请客时照顾对方的嘴巴。

Tips for telling it
- 狐狸舔盘子时配上“吧嗒吧嗒”,仙鹤啄瓶子时配上“笃笃笃”,两场宴席一对比,孩子一听就笑。
- 可以拿一个浅盘和一个细口瓶各装点水,让孩子用勺子和吸管轮流试试,哪个好喝、哪个难喝一试就知道,故事的机关也就懂了。
- 听完问孩子:仙鹤这样回请狐狸,对不对?如果是你,会怎么做?没有标准答案,聊聊就好。
