A kind, encouraging teacher in her early thirties: clear standard Mandarin, calm and never rushed. For hosting parenting courses, early-education content, explainers and parent classes.
Parenting Voices
Parenting audio falls apart when the voices sound like a soap opera. These 8 Mandarin voices are warm on purpose: a kind teacher to host the lesson, a gentle mom and a calm dad for the scenes, a storyteller and a soft narrator for bedtime, and two young character voices that play the children in the Chinese fables of the theater.

A warm, patient mother in her thirties: soft but clear, as natural as talking to her child at home. Made for parenting stories and courses, picture-book read-alongs and the mom in family dramas.
A warm, steady dad in his late thirties: slightly low, unhurried, with a gentle sense of humor. For bedtime stories, parenting courses, the dad in family dramas and heartfelt ads.
A soft, breathy, sweet Mandarin female voice — slow and gentle. Naturally suited to bedtime stories, ASMR, meditation guides, emotional radio and healing-brand ads.
A sweet, bubbly, playful girl voice with giggles baked in. The natural pick for kids' stories, picture books, cute game characters and kawaii shorts.
A shonen-anime hero voice: bright, youthful, bursting with fighting spirit. Perfect for ads, motivational clips, game promos, sports brands and hype edits.
An elderly Chinese pingshu storyteller: gravelly, rich, with dramatic rise-and-fall cadence. Ideal for history tales, guofeng content, audiobooks and cultural tourism.
A low, velvety, confident mature female voice with a touch of husk. Ideal for courses, corporate training, luxury/beauty ads and knowledge content.

How to choose and use them
- 01
Host with the teacher, act with the family
For a parenting course, let the Kind Teacher host and give the scenes to the Gentle Mom and Gentle Dad, so listeners always know which part is advice and which is the story.
- 02
Children’s lines
No voice here imitates a real child. Children are played by the young character voices Playful Girl and Hot-Blooded Youth, the way cartoons cast adult actors as kids.
- 03
One cast per series
In the audio drama studio, set lesson one’s cast and add it to a series: every later lesson keeps the same mom, dad and kids. Redo a single line when one misses.
Turn your own story into a drama like this
- Paste a chapter or script, up to 8,000 characters
- See the cast: a voice for every character, tap to hear it
- Render it: a 2,000-character episode is about 140 credits, so the trial pack ($3.90 for new users) covers about three. You get an MP3 and line-timed subtitles
FAQ
- Which voice should host a parenting course?
- The Kind Teacher: clear standard Mandarin at a calm pace. For a warmer, at-home feel, the Gentle Mom; for bedtime stories, the Gentle Healer.
- Are there child voices?
- No voice imitates a real child. Children’s lines are played by Playful Girl and Hot-Blooded Youth, who play the shepherd boy in 狼来了 (The Boy Who Cried Wolf) and the son in 曾子杀猪 in the Chinese theater.
- What does one lesson cost?
- Audio dramas are 70 credits per 1,000 characters. A ten-minute Mandarin lesson is about 2,500 characters, about 175 credits. Finding the cast and previewing use no credits, but you need some in your account.
- Can I use audio from these voices commercially?
- Yes. Audio you generate with purchased credits (the trial pack included) is yours to use in commercial projects, under the Terms of Service. The original character voices were designed from text descriptions, not cloned from real people or voice actors.
