About this story
《小红母鸡》是英美流传很广的民间故事，很早就被编进儿童读物，后来又有了许多绘本版本。小红母鸡从种麦子、割麦子、磨面粉到烤面包，一次次请伙伴帮忙，大家都说“我不去”；等面包出炉，大家却抢着要吃。这一版里不肯帮忙的是猫、狗和鸭子，结尾照原故事：面包由母鸡和小鸡们自己吃。
