About this story
珀尔修斯斩杀美杜莎的故事，记载最完整的是公元 1 至 2 世纪成书的阿波罗多洛斯《书库》第二卷，奥维德的《变形记》第四、五卷也讲到过。国王波吕得克忒斯设宴逼礼、格赖埃三姐妹共用一只眼睛和一颗牙、仙女赠送飞鞋口袋和隐身帽、赫尔墨斯送弯刀、雅典娜扶着他的手让他看着铜盾里的影子出手，这些情节都来自古代文献。这一版把搏斗写得点到为止，略去了他在回程中解救公主安德洛墨达的一段。
