指鹿为马
秦二世时,丞相赵高牵来一头鹿,硬说是马,借此试探满朝大臣。有人附和,有人沉默,说真话的人却被暗中治罪。
About this story
“指鹿为马”出自西汉司马迁《史记·秦始皇本纪》中记述秦二世的部分:秦二世三年(公元前207年),丞相赵高想要作乱,担心群臣不服,就先做了一次试探,把一头鹿献给秦二世,说是马;二世笑他弄错了,问左右大臣,有人沉默,有人附和说是马,说是鹿的人后来都被赵高暗中借法令治罪。这一版把朝堂上那一问一答展开,让附和的、沉默的、说真话的大臣各自开口。
What it teaches
是非黑白不会因为有权势的人一句话就改变。在压力面前坚持说真话很难,却很可贵;一个只剩附和声的朝廷,离败亡也就不远了。
