Villain Voice Generator: Evil Text to Speech

Villain voice generator: hear a line as a polite menace, a dark lord, an ice queen or a cartoon wolf. Free samples; from $3.90 for new users.

最終更新: 2026-10-26

A villain voice generator reads your lines in a voice built to threaten: calm and polite, booming and cruel, icy, or comically evil. On VoiceSmiths you type the line, pick a villain voice, add an evil laugh with a tag or an echo with an effect, and download an MP3. Hear the finished villains first.

The polite menace, British Butler with a [laughs] tag:

A dark lord in a throne room: Trailer Voice with the hall effect:

原稿:Kneel. Your kingdom fell an hour ago. [laughs] You simply haven't heard the news.

A corporate villain who never raises his voice, Tech Founder:

Ice Queen in Mandarin, the language she was designed in ("I gave you three chances. Pity you took none of them."):

原稿:本宫给过你三次机会。[laughs] 可惜,你一次都没抓住。

And the cartoon villain, Big Bad Wolf, in Mandarin ("Don't be scared, little one. I only want to take you to dinner."):

Pick the villain by type

Villain typeVoiceDesigned inWhy it works
The polite menaceBritish ButlerEnglish (RP)Courtesy makes a threat colder
The dark lordTrailer VoiceAmerican EnglishUltra-deep and gravelly; add the hall effect
The corporate villainTech FounderAmerican EnglishMeasured, reasonable, never loud

Ice Queen, Big Bad Wolf, Domineering CEO and Trailer Voice have each played a villain in our audio dramas; hear them in whole scenes in villain voices. For a creature rather than a person, see the monster voice generator.

What people use villain voices for

  • Game NPCs and bosses: taunts, boss intros, the line before the final fight.
  • Audio dramas and story videos: the antagonist of a fantasy serial, a short-drama schemer.
  • Animation and kids' content: a cartoon wolf or witch that is evil and funny.
  • Trailers and Halloween content: a booming warning, a laugh in an empty hall; pair with the deep voice generator or the horror narrator voice.

How to direct a villain

  1. Quiet beats loud. A threat said calmly ("Do sit down.") lands harder than shouting.
  2. Use tags for the performance: [laughs] for the evil laugh, [whispers] for the line meant only for the hero.
  3. Let punctuation do the timing. An ellipsis before the reveal ("We just... wrote the new one.") gives the pause.
  4. Add an effect for the setting: hall for a throne room, tunnel for a lair, phone for a ransom call.

Make villain lines in the workbench

  1. Open the voice workbench with British Butler and Eleven v4 selected, or with Trailer Voice and the hall effect for the dark lord.
  2. Paste the villain's lines, up to 5,000 characters at a time, with tags where the tone changes.
  3. Generate and download the MP3 and SRT subtitles. For a villain nobody else has, design one from a description with prompt to voice.

FAQ

Is this villain voice generator free? Listening is free: every sample on this page plays for anyone, no account needed. Generating your own lines happens in the VoiceSmiths workbench at 7 credits per 100 characters; the trial pack ($3.90 for new users in the first hour after sign-up, list $9.90; 500 credits, about 7,100 characters; one-time, never expires) is the usual way to start (to try only a few lines, a first order can be the $1.99 taster pack: 100 credits, about 1,400 characters).

Can it do the voice of a famous movie villain? No. Our villain voices were designed from text descriptions (a polite butler, a cold queen, a cartoon wolf), not cloned from an actor or copied from a film, and our terms forbid imitating a real performer. You can design a villain of the same type, a hissing schemer or a booming warlord, with prompt to voice.

How do I make an evil laugh? Put [laughs] where the laugh goes, for example "Kneel. [laughs] You simply haven't heard the news." Eleven v4 performs the tag instead of reading it aloud. Three of the samples on this page use it.

How do I add the throne-room echo? Add the hall effect in the workbench. The reverb is applied while the speech is generated and costs no extra credits; the dark-lord sample on this page uses it. Tunnel works for a villain underground, phone for a threatening call.

Can only the villain have an effect in a scene with other characters? An effect applies to a whole generated clip, so generate the villain's lines on their own with the effect, the rest of the cast without, and put them together in your editor. For a whole scene with no effects, use multi-speaker dialogue, or paste a Chinese or English script into the audio drama studio, which casts the villain for you.

Which languages do the villain voices speak? British Butler, Trailer Voice and Tech Founder were designed in English; Ice Queen, Big Bad Wolf and Domineering CEO in Mandarin. On Eleven v4 each can read 80+ languages and keeps the accent it was designed with.
