Monster Voice Generator: Creature AI Voice from Text

Monster voice generator: hear your line as a creature in a cave, an ancient beast or a cartoon monster under the bed. Free samples; from $3.90 for new users.

最終更新: 2026-10-27

A monster voice generator turns your lines into a creature's voice: something huge breathing in a cave, an ancient beast waking under a mountain, or a cartoon monster that is definitely not under your bed. On VoiceSmiths you type the line, pick a deep or gravelly voice, add a cave or hall around it and download an MP3; no recording, no pitch-shifting. Hear the finished monsters first.

Something in a cave: Trailer Voice with the tunnel effect and a [growls] tag:

原稿:[growls] Who walks in my cave? [menacing] I can hear your heartbeat... It is very fast.

An ancient beast waking: the same voice in a stone hall:

ボイス: Trailer Voice英語モデル: eleven_v410秒
原稿:I slept beneath this mountain for a thousand years. [laughs] And now... I am hungry.

The monster in a kids' story: Big Bad Wolf, designed in Mandarin, reading English with a laugh:

原稿:[growls] Under the bed? Oh, I'm not under the bed. [laughs] I'm right behind you.

And the wolf in his own language, sweet-talking a child:

原稿:小朋友,别怕嘛,叔叔只是想请你吃顿饭而已呀。

What people use monster voices for

  • Games: boss intros, creatures in a dungeon, the thing behind the door.
  • Horror shorts and haunted attractions: one line from the dark; pair it with a horror narrator for the story around it.
  • Kids' stories and cartoons: a monster who is more silly than scary.
  • Tabletop RPG sessions: a pre-recorded line for the dragon at the right moment.
  • Halloween ads and party audio.

How to make a monster sound bigger

  1. Start deep. A big creature needs a low voice; Trailer Voice is the deepest we have.
  2. Write short and slow. "Who walks in my cave? ... I can hear your heartbeat." Ellipses give the pauses.
  3. Put it in a space. Tunnel for a cave or a sewer, hall for a throne room or a temple. Effects cost no extra credits.
  4. Use tags for acting, sound effects for noise. [growls], [menacing] and [laughs] change how the line is performed; a roar, a chain or dripping water comes from AI sound effects.

Make a monster voice in the workbench

  1. Open the voice workbench with Trailer Voice and the tunnel effect, or with the hall effect.
  2. Paste the monster's lines, up to 5,000 characters at a time. For a scene where the monster talks to other characters, generate its lines on their own with the effect, then the rest of the cast, and put them together in your editor.
  3. Generate and download the MP3 and the SRT subtitles.

FAQ

Is this monster voice generator free? Listening is free: every sample on this page plays for anyone, no account needed. Generating your own lines happens in the VoiceSmiths workbench at 7 credits per 100 characters, and effects add nothing. A first order can be the taster pack ($1.99, 100 credits, about 1,400 characters, once per account); the trial pack is $3.90 for new users in the first hour after sign-up (list $9.90) with 500 credits, about 7,100 characters, one-time and never expiring.

Can it growl or roar? Partly. On Eleven v4 a [growls] tag makes the voice act a low rumble or breath before the line; it is a voice performing, not an animal roar, as you can hear in the samples. For a real roar, generate one with sound effects (15 credits each) and lay it under the line in your editor.

Is it a voice changer for my own voice? No, this page is text to speech: you type, the monster speaks. To turn your own recording into a monster, use the voice changer in Audio Tools with a deep target voice such as Trailer Voice; it changes the voice, it does not pitch-shift or distort it.

How is a monster voice different from a villain voice? A villain is a person who threatens: a polite butler, a cold queen. A monster is a creature: bigger, slower, rumbling, often in a cave or a hall. For human villains see the villain voice generator; for a narrator telling a scary story, see the horror narrator voice.

Which languages can the monsters speak? Trailer Voice was designed in American English and Big Bad Wolf in Mandarin. On Eleven v4 either can speak 80+ languages and keeps the accent it was designed with, which is why the wolf has an accent in English.

Can I use a monster voice in a game, a YouTube video or a haunted house? Yes. Audio you generate can be used commercially under our terms of service. Our voices were designed from text descriptions, not copied from a film creature or a voice actor.

Start with one line

Hear the monsters above. When one fits, paste its line into the workbench, put it in a cave, and make the full voiceover.
