Dubbing Short Dramas for Overseas Markets: A Workflow

In 2026, roughly 80% of overseas short-drama ad spend goes to AI-made titles, and the supply gap is still real. Turning a Chinese drama into English, Spanish and Portuguese versions isn't about "translation" — it's about believable voices. Two routes:

Route A: keep the original actors — video dubbing

Upload the master, pick a target language, and video dubbing transcribes, translates and re-voices while preserving each speaker's vocal identity, separating up to 32 speakers, with SRT included. Viewers still hear "that actor" — now speaking English.

For: live-action dramas with finished masters. Highest cost (per minute) — validate with a one-minute clip before batching.
