The same English sentence in British, American and Australian paints three different brands. The "Accent" tab on the homepage plays one line — "Welcome aboard…" — three ways. Here is how to choose.
British (RP): credible, refined, a little timeless
- British Butler — polished RP, calm, dry humour.
- For: English audiobooks, history documentaries, luxury / tea / whisky ads, premium brand narration.
- Caveat: reads as "formal" to US audiences; avoid for casual content.
American (General American): friendly, neutral, widest reach
- Sweet Girl (English) — bright, smiling; the default for voice assistants and IVR.
- Movie Trailer Voice — ultra-deep, gravelly, "In a world…".
- Tech Founder Keynote — thoughtful, with pauses; product launches and podcasts.
- For: almost all global content — the safe default.
Australian: sunny, laid-back, distinctive
- Aussie Surfer — warm, friendly, authentic vowels.
- For: travel, outdoors, surf/coffee lifestyle brands, and anything that needs to stand out from a wall of American voiceovers.
